The closest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO), located about 30–40 minutes from the venue.

Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available at the airport, and car rentals are easy to arrange if you’re planning to explore beyond the resort.

Getting Around

Orlando is not a walking or public transit-friendly city, especially around the resort area. We recommend using ride-share apps or renting a car for convenience.

Valet and self-parking are available at the Omni for guests staying on property.

Weather

Late September in Orlando is typically warm and humid, with average highs around 85°F (29°C). Quick afternoon showers are common; pack light clothing, sunscreen, and maybe a small umbrella just in case.

Staying longer? Orlando is packed with options! The resort is about 30 minutes from Disney World and Universal Studios.

For something more relaxing, enjoy the Omni’s pools, golf courses, and spa, or check out nearby spots like Winter Park or Lake Eola Park for a taste of local charm.

Traffic around Orlando’s tourist areas can be heavy; build in extra time, especially on the wedding day.

Many attractions offer discounted tickets when purchased in advance, so plan ahead if you’re visiting the parks.
